Basira Press publications released its debut book, The Firmest Handle: Converts to Islam Who Became Martyrs, on 21 October 2024. This is the first book to ever be published on Islamic martyrs who had converted to Islam or went from one school of thought within Islam towards Shi’a Islam.

It is also the first-ever book to write about the life and suspicious murder of Martyr Malcolm Latif Shabazz, the grandson of African American Muslim leader Malcolm X. Featuring exclusive interviews with many of Malcolm Shabazz’s friends and colleagues, including former US congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, it sheds much light and gives strong clues into how he was murdered and that the mainstream media narrative surrounding his death are a bunch of lies meant to defame him and his grandfather.

Given the propensity of ISIS and other takfiri groups with similar ideologies but different names and different Gulf monarchies paying their dues to lie about atrocities just like the Zionist Jews lie about the alleged holocaust of World War 2, showing skepticism towards these claims 1) does not mean excusing actually existing wrongdoings of the Syrian government under Assad (in fact, this Zionist/holocaust-style fake atrocity propaganda cheapens the actual bad things done) and 2) also has to be considered the sensitivity of the time and that harping too much on internal contradictions feeds into the justification for Zionist/NATO destruction of Syria.

Those behind the claims that Iran and Hezbollah committed war crimes in Syria:

- Pro-LGBT, pro-Zionist NGOs like Amnesty or Human Rights Watch (HRW has many former US State Dept officials in its ranks), many of whom are funded by Soros

- NGOs like Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which was literally run by one man out of the UK who got all his reports from western-backed terrorist-held areas

- White Helmets, which was literally created by a British spy

- Syrian expats, many of whom were given citizenships and green cards in western countries in exchange for their coordination with the CIA during the Muslim Brotherhood's uprising against Hafez al-Assad

There are very few verifiable claims outside of these sources, and the majority of the actually real problems the Syrians faced were from the Syrian government (which had its shortcomings and problems, albeit the claims of killing its own or using chemical weapons being totally false), not Iran or Hezbollah, who came into Syria under invitation of the government in order to stamp out a Zionist-American engineered horde of terrorist mercenarios for the region, and did not come to Syria just to kill Sunnis just because they are Sunni.

If you can provide sources which are not from pro-LGBT/Soros-funded NGOs, SOHR, White Helmets, and former CIA stooges who are now expats in the west, please provide them so we can actually get to the meat and potatoes of the actually bad things committed under the Syrian government during the Assad family's rule. Iran, Hezbollah, and others didn't come into Syria to defend every single thing about the regime and were very critical and urging there to be changes so as not to give the western regimes and Zionists the excuse, but this was not listened to, and unfortunately it became too late, and when a house is on fire, you can't argue about the color of the drapes.

Iran and Hezbollah came in to extinguish a fire and to put a stop to the New Middle East project of the US and Zionists, the project which sectarian agitators (which you seem to be one of them although you play like you are not) are the perfect useful idiots for, especially as Wahabbism was put into power by the Anglo-Zionist nexus (i.e. Lawrence of Arabia) in order to 1) be a caricature of Islam that they could use for Islamophobic propaganda and 2) to be useful idiot mercenaries who kill innocents mercilessly.

You act like Iran and Hezbollah don't have their gripes with the Assad government. Who supported who during the brother wars during the Lebanese civil war between Hezbollah and Amal? We will be the first to condemn any and all legitimate cases of murder, corruption, theft, etc.

However, in this case, you're exposing your hypocrisy in order to justify mass murder, summary executions, and even dropping barrel bombs. All the things you would complain about under Assad. In this case, you know full well that murders of religious minorities were happening well before the armed uprising against HTS death squads. This has been going on for weeks and months. What, you're upset that Shias, Alawites, Christians, and others no longer want to accept being killed, humiliated, and wronged while sitting down and being quiet?
