আজ সন্ধ্যায়, নির্দিষ্ট সূত্রে পাওয়া খবরের ভিত্তিতে সন্দেশখালি থানার একটি দল কর্ণখালিতে অভিযান চালিয়ে কিছু ব্যক্তিকে নৌকায় করে অবৈধভাবে গবাদি পশু পরিবহন করতে দেখে। জিজ্ঞাসাবাদে তারা কোনো বৈধ নথি দেখাতে ব্যর্থ হয়।

সেই অনুযায়ী, একটি নির্দিষ্ট মামলা রুজু করা হয়েছে এবং পাঁচটি মাঝারি আকারের গরু, একটি বাছুর ও পরিবহনে ব্যবহৃত নৌকাটি বাজেয়াপ্ত করা হয়েছে। দুই ব্যক্তি, যথা (১) আব্বাস মোল্লা (৫১ বছর), পিতা- মৃত হাতেম মোল্লা, গ্রাম ও পোঃ ভবানীপুর, থানা- হাসনাবাদ এবং (২) আব্দুল ছাত্তার গাজী (৪৫ বছর), পিতা- হাকিমুল্লা গাজী, সন্দেশখালি-কে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে। পরবর্তী তদন্ত চলছে।

This evening, based on specific information, a team of Sandeshkhali PS conducted a raid at Karnakhali and found some persons illegally transporting cattle by boat . Upon enquiring they failed to produce any valid documents.

Accordingly, a specific case has been registered and five medium-sized cows, one calf and the boat used for transportation have been seized. Two persons, namely (1) Abbas Molla (51 years), S/o Late Hatem Molla of Vill. & P.O. Bhabanipur, PS Hasnabad, and (2) Abdul Chattar Gazi (45 years), S/o Hakimulla Gazi of Sandeshkhali, have been arrested. Further investigation is in progress.

Basirhat Police District Observes Rashtriya Ekta Diwas to Mark the 151st Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
Basirhat | October 31, 2026: In solemn observance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) and commemorating the 151st Birth Anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Basirhat Police District organized a series of commemorative programs across the district today.
The day commenced at the Unit Headquarters with a ceremonial March Past to uphold and propagate the ideals of national unity, integrity, and security, followed by a collective National Unity Pledge-taking ceremony administered to police personnel and officers.
To ensure wide community participation and foster patriotic spirit, live telecasts of the National Ekta Parade 2026 were relayed on large screens across all police stations within the district. Interactive community events were organized alongside the screenings, drawing enthusiastic participation from local residents, youth, and school students.

বসিরহাট, ২৭ অক্টোবর: দুর্গাপূজা শান্তিপূর্ণভাবে সম্পন্ন হওয়া উপলক্ষে আজ বসিরহাট টাউন হলে বসিরহাট পুলিশ জেলার উদ্যোগে 'বিজয়া সম্মেলনী ২০২৬'-এর আয়োজন করা হয়। পুলিশ সুপার (এসপি ম্যাডাম)-এর সভাপতিত্বে আয়োজিত এই অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন রামকৃষ্ণ মিশন ও ভারত সেবাশ্রম সঙ্ঘের পূজনীয় মহারাজগণ এবং সেই সঙ্গে বেসামরিক প্রশাসন, বিএসএফ, স্বাস্থ্য, দমকল, পিডব��লিউডি (পূর্ত দপ্তর) ও অন্যান্য দপ্তরের পদস্থ আধিকারিক��া।
অনুষ্ঠানে কলকাতা ঘটনার শিকার হওয়া নিহতদের স্মরণে একটি শোক ও শ্রদ্ধাজ্ঞাপন পর্ব পালন করা হয়। উৎসবের দিনগুলিতে মসৃণ ও সুশৃঙ্খল ব্যবস্থাপনা সুনিশ্চিত করার পেছনে বিভিন্ন সরকারি দপ্তরের মধ্যে যে দৃঢ় পারস্পরিক সমন্বয় ছিল, এই অনুষ্ঠানে তা বিশেষভাবে তুলে ধরা হয়।

BASIRHAT, Oct 27: Basirhat Police District today hosted Bijoya Sammilani 2026 at Basirhat Town Hall to observe the peaceful completion of Durga Puja. Presided over by the Superintendent of Police (SP Madam), the event was graced by revered representatives from Ramakrishna Mission and Bharat Sevashram Sangha, along with officials from the BSF, Civil Administration, Health, Fire, PWD, and other departments. A remembrance homage was observed in memory of the victims of the Kolkata incident.
The occasion highlighted the strong inter-agency coordination that ensured smooth festival management.

পুলিশের অভিযান: বসিরহা���ে অবৈধ বালু উত্তোলন
বসিরহাট: অবৈধ পরিবেশগত খনির বিরুদ্ধে এক বড় অভিযানে, ইছামতী নদীর তলদেশ থেকে অবৈধভাবে সাদা বালি উত্তোলনের নির্ভরযোগ্য খবরের ভিত্তিতে বসিরহাট থানার একটি দল সোলারদোনা মণ্ডলপাড়ায় সফল অভিযান চালায়।
অভিযানের সময় পুলিশ স্থানীয় বিভিন্ন ইটভাটার উদ্দেশ্যে অবৈধভাবে উত্তোলিত বালি আনলোড করার সময় ১০টি নৌকা আটক করে। অবৈধভাবে বালি উত্তোলন ও অননুমোদিত পরিবহনের অভিযোগে ১০টি নৌকা জব্দ করা হয়েছে এবং ঘটনা��্থল থেকে ৫ জনকে আটক করা হয়েছে।
এ ঘটনায় একটি সুনির্দিষ্ট মামলা রুজু করা হয়েছে এবং এর পেছনে থাকা বৃহত্তর চক্রটিকে উদঘাটনের জন্য তদন্ত চলছে।
POLICE CRACKDOWN- ILLEGAL SAND MINING IN BASIRHAT
BASIRHAT : In a major crackdown against illegal environmental mining, the Basirhat Police Station conducted a successful raid at Soladana Mondalpara, acting on reliable intelligence regarding the illicit extraction of white sand from the Ichamati River bed.
During the operation, police intercepted 10 boats actively unloading illegally mined sand intended for local brick fields. All 10 vessels were seized, and five individuals were detained at the scene for illegal extraction and unauthorized transport.
A formal case has been registered, and a thorough investigation is currently underway to uncover the wider network behind the operation.

টাকি ও বসিরহাটের বিভিন্ন ঘাটে মা দুর্গার ঐতিহ্যবাহী প্রতিমা বিসর্জনের ধারাকে অক্ষুণ্ণ রেখে, এই বছর জননিরাপত্তা সুনিশ্চিত করতে বসিরহাট পুলিশ জেলার পক্ষ থেকে নিবিড় টহলদারি, ব্যাপক পুলিশ কর্মী মোতায়েন এবং জলপথ ও স্থলপথে ড্রোনের মাধ্যমে নির��িচ্ছিন্ন নজরদারির ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছিল। বসিরহাট পুলিশ জেলা, অসামরিক প্রশাসন, সীমান্ত নিরাপত্তা বাহিনী (BSF) এবং স্থানীয় প্রশাসন ও সংস্থাগুলির মধ্যে ঘনিষ্ঠ সমন্বয়ের ফলেই এই নির্বিঘ্ন পরিকল্পনা বাস্তবায়ন সম্ভব হয়েছে। ইছামতী নদীতে বিশেষ নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা এবং নিবেদিত উদ্ধারকারী দলের উপস্থিতিতে সমস্ত বিসর্জন আচার-অনুষ্ঠান সম্পূর্ণ নিরাপদ ও ঝুঁকিমুক্তভাবে সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

Keeping up with the rich heritage of riverine immersion of Maa Durga along the various ghats of Taki Basirhat ; this year Basirhat Police District ensured intensive patrolling, extensive force deployment, and continuous riverine and ground/ drone surveillance to ensure public safety.
This seamless execution was made possible through close coordination between Basirhat Police District, the Civil Administration, the Border Security Force (BSF), and local bodies. Specialized security measures and dedicated rescue teams along the Ichamati River ensured all safe incident free immersion rituals.

গত ১৮.১০.২০২৬ তারিখ রাতে মিনাখাঁ থানা বিশেষ অভিযান চালিয়ে মিনাখাঁর বাসিন্দা তনয় @ সুব্রত মণ্ডল (৪৮) নামে এক ব্যক্ত���কে গ্রেপ্তার করে।
তল্লাশি চালিয়ে তার কাছ থেকে ২৭২ বোতল অবৈধ মদ উদ্ধার করা হয়, যার মধ্যে দেশি মদ এবং বিয়ার ছিল, যা সে কোনো বৈধ লাইসেন্স ছাড়াই বিক্রি করছিল।
এই ঘটনায় বি.ই. আইনে একটি নির্দিষ্ট মামলা রুজু করা হয়েছে এবং তদন্ত চলছে।
On 18.10.2026 night Minakhan PS conducted a raid and arrested one person namely Tanay @ Subrata Mondal (48) of Baidyati, Minakhan.
On search, 272 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from his possession, including Country Spirit and Beer, which he was selling without any valid license.
A specific case under BE Act registered and further investigation is proceeding.

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের দূরদর্শী পরিকল্পনায়- বসিরহাট পুলিশ জেলায় গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ট্রাফিক পয়েন্টগুলোতে সিসিটিভি (CCTV) ক্যামেরার পর্যাপ্ত নজরদারি নিশ্চিত করতে জেলা পুলিশ কন্ট্রোল রুমের সাথে, নবনির্মিত 'ট্রাফিক কন্ট্রোল রুম' সংযুক্ত করা হয়েছে।
দক্ষিণবঙ্গের এডিজি ও আইজিপি (ADG & IGP, South Bengal), বসিরহাটের সুপারিনটেনডেন্ট অফ পুলিশ (SP) এবং অন্যান্য ঊর্ধ্বতন পুলিশ আধিকারিকদের উজ্জ্বল উপস্থিতিতে এই শুভ উদ্বোধন সম্পন্ন হয়।

To ensure seamless traffic management across the district—as envisioned by the Government of West Bengal—a newly designated Traffic Control Room, equipped with extensive CCTV coverage at major traffic intersections, was integrated into the District Control Room.
The inauguration took place in the august presence of the ADG & IGP, South Bengal, alongside the Superintendent of Police (SP), Basirhat, and other senior police officers.
Furthermore, to enhance the operational capabilities of zonal supervising officers in managing law and order, drones and portable sound systems were distributed to all Zonal SDPOs and DySPs to strengthen crime prevention, crowd management, and border patrolling.
Additionally, renovated and fully furnished force barracks across all police stations under the Basirhat Police District were formally inaugurated.

বৈজ্ঞানিক উপায়ে অপরাধ তদন্ত ব্যবস্থাকে আরও শক্তিশালী করার এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদক্ষেপে, ২০২৬ সালের ১৪ই অক্টোবর বসিরহাট পুলিশ জেলায় একটি অত্যাধুনিক মোব��ইল ফরেনসিক ইউনিট (MFU)-এর আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করা হলো। দক্ষিণবঙ্গের এডিজি ও আইজিপি মহোদয়ের মর্যাদাপূর্ণ উপস্থিতিতে এবং বসিরহাট পুলিশ জেলার পুলিশ সুপার (SP), সহকারী নির্দেশক (টক্সিকোলজি) শ্রী পলাশ বরণ মাইতি, বরিষ্ঠ পুলিশ আধিকারিক ও বিশেষ ফরেনসিক দলের সম উপস্থিতিতে এই উদ্বোধন সম্পন্ন হয়।
এই অনুষ্ঠানে মোবাইল ফরেনসিক ভ্যানটিরও শুভ সূচনা করা হয়, যা ঘটনাস্থলে তাৎক্ষণিক পরীক্ষাগার হিসেবে কাজ করবে। এর ফলে বিশেষজ্ঞ দলগুলি দ্রুত অপরাধস্থলে পৌঁছে দ্রুততার সঙ্গে ও নির্ভুলভাবে তথ্য-প্রমাণ সংগ্রহ করতে সক্ষম হবে।
In a major step towards capacity building for ensuring implementation of the New Criminal Laws , strengthening scientific crime investigation, a state-of-the-art Mobile Forensic Unit (MFU) was officially inaugurated at Basirhat Police District on 14 October 2026, in the august presence of the ADG & IGP, South Bengal, alongside the Superintendent of Police (SP), Basirhat, Mr. Palash Baran Maity, Assistant Director (Toxicology), senior police officers, and the specialized forensic team.
The event also featured the flagging off of the Mobile Forensic Van, which will act as an immediate response laboratory, enabling expert teams to reach crime scenes swiftly for prompt and accurate evidence collection.

The event marked the launch of a QR code-based website and the distribution of physical guide map copies to assist pandal-hoppers across the district. Alongside detailed briefings on traffic regulations and public safety protocols, the administration also distributed financial assistance cheques to local Durga Puja committees. The ceremony was graced by the Superintendent of Police (SP), Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), esteemed saints from Ramakrishna Math, senior officials from the police and civil administration, BSF representatives, line department officers, local citizens, and media personnel.

গোপন সূত্রে খবর পেয়ে গত রাতে মাটিয়া থানার পুলিশ মাটিয়া গামছারহাটার একটি পরিত্যক্ত বাড়িতে অভিযান চালিয়ে জুয়া খেলার অভিযোগে ১৭ জনকে গ্রেফতার করে।
অভিযানে নগদ অর্থ, ৪টি দু’চাকার ও ৩টি চারচাকার গাড়ি বাজেয়াপ্ত করা হয়েছে। এই ঘটনায় মামলা রুজু হয়েছে এবং তদন্ত চলছে।

Today on 09.10.2026 morning, Hasnabad PS conducted a raid against illegal extraction of white sand at Dansa River near Bainara Ferry Ghat.
During the raid, 03 nos. white sand loaded boats were seized and 06 persons were arrested. A specific case is being initiated in this regard.
আজ ০৯.১০.২০২৬ তারিখ সকালে হাসনাবাদ থানা ডাঁসা নদীর বৈনারা ফেরিঘাটের কাছে অবৈধভাবে সাদা বালি তোলার বিরুদ্ধে অভিযান চালায়।
অভিযান চলাকালীন সাদা বালি বোঝাই ০৩টি নৌকা বাজেয়াপ্ত করা হয়েছে এবং ০৬ জনকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে। এই বিষয়ে একটি নির্দিষ্ট মামলা রুজু করার প্রক্রিয়া চলছে।

On receiving information from local sources regarding illegal excavation of earth at Chimta Bhabanipur Ferry Ghat, a police team of Hasnabad PS conducted a raid.
During the raid, one excavator (JCB) along with stored earth was seized.

In this connection, a specific case is being initiated under relevant provisions of law. Such drives against illegal earth excavation will continue.

সাইবার অপরাধের হটস্পট সংক্রান্ত প্রাপ্ত তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে বসিরহাট জেলা পুলিশ সন্দেহভাজন অভিযুক্তদের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযান পরিচালনা করে। এখনও পর্যন্ত ০৫ জন অভিযুক্তকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে এবং ০৭টি ব্যাংক পাসবুক, ১৪টি ATM কার্ড, ০২টি SIM কার্ড এবং ১০টি চেকবুক উদ্ধার/জব্দ করা হয়েছে।
অপরাধের সঙ্গে জড়িত অন্যান্য ব্যক্তিদের শনাক্ত ও গ্রেফতার জন্য তদন্ত ও অভিযান অব্যাহত রয়েছে।

🚨 Swift Action Against Cyber Crime by Basirhat District Police 🚨

Acting on inputs regarding cybercrime hotspots, Basirhat Police District conducted raids against the suspected accused persons. So far, 05 accused persons have been arrested, and 07 bank passbooks, 14 ATM cards, 02 SIM cards and 10 cheque books have been seized.
Further efforts are underway to identify and arrest other persons involved in the crime.
