Faraz fled Pakistan due to religious persecution and found a new home in Australia only a year earlier. Who would have thought that the fear and danger he left behind in Pakistan would take his life in Australia. Due to Faraz’s heroic actions many more could have been killed.

Sadly, this was only Faraz's fifth shift at the shopping center, and his first day shift. He may not receive the spotlight he deserves, but his bravery and sacrifice will not be forgotten.
