Proud of our student interns & volunteers whose dedication, professionalism & leadership helps the Baskerville Institute shine through all of our projects and conferences. Their commitment truly reflects the spirit of Diplomacy of the Heart.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.

#Language learning is more than acquiring words—it’s about learning #empathy, #humility, and the art of listening. Rector Bahodir Kholikov reminds us why investing in foreign language education shapes leaders who build bridges, not barriers. 🌍✨

Discover how the #SilkRoad was more than a trade route—it was a bridge of #faiths, where diverse religions met, mingled, and shaped one another over centuries. A powerful reminder that cultural exchange fosters understanding, not division.

For many Iranian students admitted to U.S. universities, the coming weeks are critical as they await visas to begin their studies this spring.
Over 1,000 Iranian students and researchers are facing prolonged U.S. visa processing times—many waiting more than six months. These delays have forced these students to defer their fully funded admissions multiple times, with many now at risk of losing their academic positions altogether.
These students only ask to be treated based on their individual merit, free from political circumstances tied to their nationality and birth places. Delays like these not only hinder their academic futures but also deny universities access to the incredible talent and contributions these scholars bring.
Let’s raise awareness and urge relevant authorities to expedite student visa processes so these talented individuals can continue their academic journeys. Academia thrives when it embraces diverse perspectives and provides equal opportunities to all, regardless of where they come from.
