With regret, I must announce the end of the BasketCoin project — today, I am closing the basket.

Why?
This decision is based on several reasons:

1. Upcoming regulations in the European Union, which may prevent further development or even the continuation of the project. There is a real risk of funds being frozen, so I decided to shut down Basket before that happens.

2. A hacking attack at the end of 2024, which resulted in the loss of 1.84 BTC from the basket —22% of the investment on the Flamingo Finance platform. Flamingo had been considered "safe" for many years, but the attack targeted the bridge between EVM and NEO3 (PolyNetwork), not the platform itself.
Flamingo announced it would compensate half of the losses after a month. However, more than half a year has passed, and nothing has happened. I don’t want to wait any longer.

I made a mistake by not informing you about this situation earlier. I hoped that the funds would be returned, at least partially. Today I know that was a mistake, and I can no longer count on any reimbursement. This loss is another argument in favor of closing the project.

- No one from the team was informed about the hacking incident.

What needs to be done?
👉 Send your BSKT tokens to the deployer address:

After sending, simply wait for USDT — it will be sent to the same address from which the BSKT was sent.
- USDT payouts will be processed daily throughout April, and then at least once a week.
- The value of 1 BSKT will be calculated after the entire process is complete (details below).

Z przykrością muszę ogłosić koniec projektu BasketCoin — dzisiaj zamykam koszyk.

Dlaczego?
Decyzja ta wynika z kilku powodów:
1. Nadchodzące regulacje w Unii Europejskiej, które mogą uniemożliwić dalszy rozwój, a nawet działanie projektu. Istnieje realne ryzyko zamrożenia środków, dlatego postanowiłem zamknąć Basketa zanim do tego dojdzie.
2. Atak hakerski z końca 2024 roku, w wyniku którego koszyk stracił 1,84 BTC, co stanowiło 22% inwestycji na platformie Flamingo Finance. Platforma przez wiele lat uchodziła za „bezpieczną”, jednak atak był wymierzony w bridge pomiędzy EVM a NEO3 (PolyNetwork), a nie samą platformę.
Flamingo ogłosiło, że zrekompensuje połowę strat po miesiącu. Minęło już jednak ponad pół roku, a nic się nie wydarzyło. Nie chcę dłużej czekać.

Popełniłem błąd, nie informując was wcześniej o tej sytuacji. Liczyłem, że środki zostaną zwrócone, choćby częściowo. Dziś już wiem, że był to błąd i nie mogę na dłużej liczyć na ten zwrot. Ta strata to kolejny argument za zamknięciem projektu.
