@fishontherun2 I recommend reading Sarah Naish’s books on therapeutic approach to teaching/parenting. Making boundaries clear with ‘in our house’ ‘in our family’ like you’re excited to involve them in how you do things, allows them to understand how it’s different without judging their family.

@JamesGPickthall (Not a dramaturg but make this work & guess it’s Playhouse?) Adv: think about including up to 30 yp in balanced but varied ways where they all feel cool. Directed by theatre ppl or teachers so flexible to dif levels of ambitious staging. Ask primary aged kids what they think!
