@bassnectar@bass_network hey y’all
We the fans need to start hearing some info from you.
We understand there have been no reported cases in Mexico and Deja Voom is currently on as scheduled, but there are many of us who have paid who realize some things.
@zachliuzzi @funkolson @bassnectar@bass_network Bitching? It’s logic. How does “you might not die but you might infect someone who will die” not make sense?
Why would you want to be responsible for that? How devastating.
There will be another show. There will be another Deja.
It’ll be ok :)
@funkolson @zachliuzzi@bassnectar@bass_network You can go up to two weeks without showing symptoms. So say you have the virus. You go to deja voom. Give it to god knows how many people. Then they don’t show the signs for weeks. How many people have been infected?
@zachliuzzi@bassnectar@bass_network It’s not about us. It’s about the old people we care about in the states. How would you feel if you were responsible for a death by giving someone the virus ?
@bassnicktar @C0nzie@bassnectar@bass_network Because you are going to be with people from around the world in a small space? How do you know the dude in the pool with you doesn’t have the virus but hasn’t shown signs yet?
@bassnicktar @C0nzie@bassnectar@bass_network It’s wildly irresponsible for anyone to gather in such tight quarters just in the off chance the get infected and bring it back to the states and then infect the people they interact with.
Sure. You will be fine. Will your grandmother? The nice old man you work with?
While the event still can go on, you said it yourself, how can we not wanna save the grammas?!
Please take this into consideration if you’re still planning on going through hosting the event. We need an opt out clause and refunds need to be given if wanted.
While the fan base might not be very affected, due to age, etc, it would be wildly irresponsible for us fans to go and then come back to the states possibly infected. There needs to be an option to refund those who are too uncomfortable to go
