Jim Rathmann after the 1954 Indianapolis 500, Jim started in Car #38, gave up the car (heat exhaustion) to Pat Flaherty, Pat wrecked on Lap 111, Jim then drove in relief for teammate Sam Hanks, on Lap 192 the crankshaft locked up sending Jim for a wild spin down the frontstretch.
