Shri Anil Kumar Jain is the new General Manager of South Eastern Railway.
He succeeds Shri Anil Kumar Mishra, who retired on 31st March 2026. During the interim period, Shri Soumitra Majumdar served as the acting General Manager.
With a distinguished career in Indian Railways, Shri Jain brings rich experience from key leadership roles, including Principal Chief Electrical Engineer at North Western Railway and Divisional Railway Manager at Rajkot. An IRSEE officer of the 1990 batch, he has also contributed significantly in areas like safety, planning, and design across various railway zones and organizations.
🎓 Academically accomplished, he holds an https://t.co/BY1AHUNNIX (Gold Medalist) from IIT Delhi and an MBA from Manipal University, along with international exposure in railway systems and engineering.
We wish him great success in leading South Eastern Railway towards new milestones!
