MNL48 TO CEASE ACTIVITIES BY END OF MAY

READ: Filipino idol girl group MNL48 is set to conclude all activities by the end of May 2026, according to a statement released by P.O.S Inc. today, May 20.

The “Pag-Ibig Fortune Cookie” hitmakers cited difficulty in sustaining its management structure, its future operating environment, and the various conditions necessary to continue supporting the group in a stable manner as reasons for their retirement.

“As management, we have done our utmost to carry MNL48 forward in the best possible way. We deeply apologize for not being able to fully meet everyone's expectations in the end,” the statement read.
