A billionaire went on stage and explained in 42 minutes how the entire economy works. for free. Wall Street spent the next decade pretending nobody saw it.
he didn't sell a course. he didn't plug a fund. he stood at a whiteboard and drew three lines that explain every crash, every recovery, and every rate decision since 1929.
MBA programs charge $200,000 to teach frameworks he covered in the first 15 minutes. six of the models he drew on that board are still classified as proprietary at three major banks. he gave them away on YouTube.
the part nobody talks about: he predicted exactly what happened in 2020, two years before it played out. interest rates hitting zero, the central bank running out of tools, the money printer. he drew it on a whiteboard in 2018 like he was reading tomorrow's newspaper.
a portfolio manager at a top-five firm told me every new analyst on his desk watches this before they're allowed to open a terminal. not the CFA prep. not the internal training. this one lecture.
40 million people have seen it. almost none of them can name the three forces he draws in the first ten minutes.
it is still free.
Plugging men;

The best advice I heard from a stranger was this: Give luck more opportunities to bump into you. Leave the house, take a different road, travel, and say yes to new experiences. The more you do, the more life surprises you in the best ways.
Former Safaricom CEO Michael Joseph has joined the board of De La Rue Kenya following a major ownership change.

Lesson 4: Trade Assurance is the safety net most buyers don't know exists.
The number one fear that stops Americans from buying on Alibaba is getting scammed. You send $2,000 to a factory in China and they send nothing. Or they send the wrong product. Or they send lower quality than the sample. You're 7,000 miles away with no leverage and no recourse.
He told me that fear was legitimate 10 years ago. It's largely solved now through a system most first-time buyers don't know about.
Trade Assurance is Alibaba's built-in buyer protection program. When you pay through Trade Assurance, Alibaba holds your payment in escrow until the order is fulfilled. If the supplier fails to ship on time, ships a product that doesn't match the agreed specifications, or doesn't ship at all, you file a dispute and Alibaba mediates. If the dispute is resolved in your favor, Alibaba refunds your payment from the escrow.
He told me to never pay a supplier outside of Trade Assurance on a first order. Some suppliers ask for direct wire transfer or Western Union because it saves them Alibaba's platform fee. That's the moment the buyer protection disappears. The money leaves Alibaba's escrow system and enters an unprotected transaction.
He said Trade Assurance doesn't make Alibaba risk-free. But it makes it roughly as safe as any other e-commerce platform where you don't physically inspect the goods before paying. The protection only works if you use it. Most first-time buyers who get burned either paid outside the system or didn't know the system existed.
Always pay through Alibaba's platform. Always select Trade Assurance orders. Always document the agreed product specifications material, dimensions, color, weight, packaging in the Alibaba chat before placing the order. The chat log becomes your evidence if a dispute arises.

To put global wealth into perspective,
~A net worth of USD 10,000 ( KSh1.29M) places you around the top 50% of adults worldwide, meaning you are wealthier than about half of the global adult population.
~Reaching USD 100,000 ( KSh 12.9M) moves you into roughly the top 15–20% globally, putting you ahead of about four out of every five adults in the world.
~A net worth of USD 175,000 ( KSh 22.8 million) is generally considered the threshold for the global top 10%, while USD 1.1 million (approximately KSh 143 million) places you among the wealthiest 1% of adults worldwide.
These figures highlight an important lesson: wealth is relative. While a net worth that may seem ordinary in a high-income country could be exceptional on a global scale, consistently building your assets over time can place you among a surprisingly small percentage of the world's population.
Didn't know I am doing better 90% of the world's population financially😆.
Let's keep grinding
