So that's 3 ownership groups (Magic, Foley, Colangeglo) that we know of pushing for the Las Vegas NBA franchise. With an $8 billion price tag and a bunch of different stadium proposals going on, it's feeling more real than ever. For me I hope they give it to Foley or Magic's group. Both are very aggressive when it comes to pursuing championships.
This USMNT was a fun team to watch, but u saw the difference in athletes once it got to big boy soccer. Until u have dudes that are 225 lbs and running 4.4 forties playing futbol instead of football this is as deep of a run as we'll see at the World Cup.
@JoeArrigo_@Lakers U know me, I'm a Laker hater at best. But these are good ass moves. I told my wife (a Lakers fan) that once LA moved on from LeBron they'd win a title with Luka in 2 years. IMO these moves keep them on that trajectory.
Seeing Tyler Harris on crutches is giving me PTSD from last year. Sure, he's reported to be back by November, but this is EXACTLY why u need a full roster. Last year went to shit because Pastner's margins were too slim. Guys start going down and it's a domino effect. Let's not do the definition of insanity thing. Fill out your roster with the full allotment of 15, Coach.

Never should let those self aggrandizing pricks anywhere near the city after all of this. Go hold their conference tournament in Corvallis or Logan since they think those markets are so valuable. Oh, wait! They can't. Fucking NOBODY would show up.

Way too early starting 5 #UNLVmbb projection. Bookmark it and we'll see how this holds up in November.

Odom picked 17th out of 18 coaches. Purdue's predicted to win 3 games. Getting a payday is wonderful. But he's also going to be on the hotseat halfway thru this season. Is $3.5 mil and unlimited job security at UNLV with no state taxes really worse than $6 mil at Purdue and a 3 year stint at the school? I wonder...
It's now mid June and #UNLVmbb still doesn't have a complete roster. I'm impressed with a lot of the guards and wings Pastner has landed, but through 2 recruiting classes with him at the helm he and his staff have really struggled to recruit true big men. Stephen and Foumena are the only real centers they've been able to land. Stephen isn't even with the program anymore and Foumena doesn't stand out whatsoever in any footage I've seen of him. For a program that has been struggling to get into postseason play for over a decade, is going small really the answer?
@johncanzanobft Fuck no. Make them play the conference basketball tournament in Corvallis or Logan. Since they think those markets are so great, see how many people book tickets come March.
