Thanks to @LtGovHochulNY for leading our celebration of the Ellicott Place project today. This $3 million project is part of a $60 million transformation of Downtown Batavia.
.@BobDuffyROC reflects on phase 3 of reopening, says citizens should still be cautious of virus-“We would not be opening phase three unless everybody really had been a part of a great team effort” #NYForward https://t.co/1gkX5chczn
This means that more of our restaurants and Main Street businesses will be ready to greet customers on Friday. Kent Ewell of O'Lacey's Irish Pub is showing @WKBWedreilly how his business is prepared for a safe and festive return to indoor dining in #BataviaNY
The new guidelines do not include other non-haircutting-related personal care services or activities. Personal care services have been included in Phase Three, according to the state.

New York will reopen statewide certain low-risk businesses and recreational activities as of May 15.
These include:
-Landscaping and gardening
-Outdoor, low-risk recreational activities like tennis
-Drive-in movie theaters
In #Rochester, @NYGovCuomo expanded on the criteria the regions will need in order to reopen & the phases in which businesses will come back to life. He emphasized regions will need to have their plans in place and meet the standards set by CDC & NY before May 15 pause is lifted

ICYMI: NYS DOL is open seven days a week.
All weekend staff are making outgoing calls to help finalize claims, accepting new claims and processing claims so that New Yorkers receive their benefits as quickly as possible.
To file a new claim, start here: https://t.co/nN91q0fMqR
If you get a call from 518-704-2704, we encourage you to answer it. This is the outbound phone number for NYS DOL’s Telephone Claims Center.
If you receive this call, one of our representatives is calling to help with filing your UI benefits claim.
We understand the urgency that many of you are facing. Unfortunately, it does take time to review and process UI claims. We are working around the clock to process claims and get NYers their benefits as quickly as possible.
If your claim is pending, here’s what you should know.
As we roll into the weekend please remember to support your local restaurants through take out or delivery options as well as gift card purchases. Please also take a look at the information on Food Safety FAQ regarding any concerns around take-out. #eatlocal#downtownbataviany
