Nat 5 Travel & Tourism headed to @edinburghcastle this week for the start of our joint project! Pupils enjoyed a tour and then a workshop where they considered the opportunities and challenges of careers in the tourism industry. More to follow on our partnership! @BathAcadNews

Our N5 Travel and Tourism class had the best day @edinburghcoll working for Edinburgh Airways! Pupils learned about the various roles of cabin crew and the skills required to carry them out by taking part in role plays! ✈️ @MissMerson_ @BathAcadNews

S3 visited @PlexusCorp today to learn about how languages are crucial to their organisation. They heard from employees who spoke about their role and toured the site. Thanks to Plexus for organising such a great day for Languages Week Scotland! @DYWWestLothian @BathAcadNews

Today students from Bathgate Academy interested in a career in languages visited @PlexusCorp. They learnt about how languages fit into an international organisation and how they can apply their language knowledge to all types of careers.

Global depts were joined by @VisitScotland, @ScotEngineering, @DrummondMiller, @BBCScotlandNews, Clarke Fire Protection & NHS for Meet the Professional events. Pupils loved hearing about pathways & the skills/qualities required to succeed! We hope it supported course choice!

💜🇫🇷⚽️Congrats to our S2 students for winning the West Lothian competition! They combined PE & French skills to create a football drill video with instructions in French. As the winning team, they earned an amazing prize: a tour of Ibrox! Well done!

This term, S2 French classes took part in a @LoveWestLothian competition! They combined their learning from @BathgatePe with their French to create a football drill video. Pupils peer assessed the videos and chose our entry! Well done to these pupils for winning at school level!
