Science in The Meadow. What lives in and around our school. Willow class predicted what might live there and then investigated looking for evidence. They recorded what the saw.
In Science today Willow Class carried out an experiment to find out which of four materials would be best for an umbrella. They tested whether they were waterproof, lightweight and strong.
Willow Class really enjoyed making their own models of stick maps in our first look at maps in geography. They studied some ancient maps from the Marshall Islands mapping sea swells and currents. Great to be out in Mike’s Meadow despite the cold.
