In Science today Willow Class carried out an experiment to find out which of four materials would be best for an umbrella. They tested whether they were waterproof, lightweight and strong.

Hazel class looked for electrical input devices (switches) and output devices (light bulbs) in science.

Hazel class used their understanding of compass points to make a compass panorama in geography.

In geography Willow Class investigated ancient stick maps from the Marshall Islands in the Pacific Ocean. They created some maps from sticks

Willow Class really enjoyed making their own models of stick maps in our first look at maps in geography. They studied some ancient maps from the Marshall Islands mapping sea swells and currents. Great to be out in Mike’s Meadow despite the cold.

Elm Class asked ‘Who is Jesus?’ on Friday and thought incredibly deeply to write an array of beautiful poems to express their thoughts.
