EFF Member of Parliament, Hon. @EugeneMt, speaking during the Portfolio Committee on Sport, Arts and Culture's consideration of the Cultural and Creative Industries Federation of South Africa (CCIFSA) following the conclusion of a forensic investigation, alleged serious corporate governance failures and irregular procurement within the organisation.

Hon. Mthethwa argued that members of the interim committee were appointed as service providers without due process, procurement policies were ignored, and public funds were spent without proper governance or oversight. He further stated that the forensic report did not fully address these governance failures and indicated that he is prepared to testify as a state witness should further legal action arise.
