@NichMalebranche@VenetianGaucho2 I understand it seems so because our minds cannot reason negatively, in order to grasp a concept we have to qualify it, otherwise there is no thought or conversation to begin with.
@VenetianGaucho2@NichMalebranche I have explained the application of the concept and why it's important. This inability to properly integrate existence/non-existence is the cul de sac I'm referring to.
@VenetianGaucho2@NichMalebranche The reason why "Nothing" is such a load bearing concept in metaphysics is because it's an "ordering" principle in the sense that that which exists (or a non manifested possibility) is defined by what it isn't.
@VenetianGaucho2@NichMalebranche The nature of Nothingness is the lack of determination, just because your mind can construct a qualia out of it because of the way it reasons is irrelevant
“Human perfection and technical perfection are incompatible. If we strive for one, we must sacrifice the other: there is, in any case, a parting of the ways.”
Ernst Jünger, The Worker
subcultures are not real. they are consumer categories for style and entertainment products. there have never been 'real' goths, punks, or anything else, just varying levels of commitment to the bit
“Archaeological interests are closely interwoven with graves; basically, the world is a grave into which the ages descend and from which they rise again like asphodels. These processes are a sowing and reaping, and Orpheus lives in every historian.”
