Ever be in the middle of something, then an idea pops into your head for a character, campaign hook, or session, and you just have to drop everything and find a writing utensil?
@syncedmaps@dArtagnanDnD Me too. And some of the tools available to online players are amazing! But nothing can replace face to face, in the flesh role-playing has a magic you cannot replace.
If your ttrpg character sat down to play some Humans and Houses, do you think they'd build you as their character? If not, what kind of person would they build?
Straight dude talking to a storygames couple:
So which one of you is the GM?
If you've never tried Pathfinder how do you know you won't like it?
I got nothin' against storygames personally. I have storygamer friends! I just don't want people to think that *I'm* a storygamer.
@GamesDamn Oh yeah, I have absolutely noticed that in my years online GMing. Even with webcams, people flit off to other sites while it's not their turn.
