i hate when people say the pandemic traumatized them referring to 2020. like, try being the only person everywhere you go in 2025 that knows about covid damage, witnessing the whole population’s health slowly deteriorating and waking up everyday to a dystopia nobody knows about.
This is Violet Affleck - daughter of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. SHE is the star now for advocating for clean air and protecting children everywhere. Take 2 minutes to listen to what she is saying 👇

My coworker wonders
whatever happened
to people having empathy
for one another,
so I asked him
if he was planning
on starting to wear a mask again
and with a bewildered look
he asked me
why he would do that.
To our leaders and heads of education.
Here are five benefits of improving the air quality within schools.
It will help protect the long-term health of our children and their learning.
Who's going to take the lead?

Stop telling yourself that the people who are still masking/responding adaptively to the present pandemic are doing it because it’s easy for them, while it would be hard for you.
It isn’t easy for anyone.
Some of us are just doing it anyway.
Research published in the European Heart Journal studying 2,390 people from 16 countries found that SARS2 infections, even mild, likely causes blood vessels to stiffen and age by approx. 5 years, increasing the risk of developing cardiovascular disease, strokes and heart attacks.
@sutherlasu "Uptake for it was very low." (It was the best kept secret in town, you had to call an unlisted number to book it and be available during business hours the one day per week when they opened a vial of it, only in one public health facility, not even located in the capital city.)
@sutherlasu I managed to get three doses of Novavax when it was available here, but it took a lot of phone calling and and stretching the limits of what was allowed. I doubt we'll ever have it again.
@GovNL@NL_HealthServ@HCS_GovNL @FFA_GovNL @JPS_GovNL@TI_GovNL @CSSD_GovNL In addition, "clean indoor air" is pretty general, but "use all available air purifiers/HEPA filters turned up to their highest setting" is actionable advice that people can use.
@GovNL@NL_HealthServ@HCS_GovNL @FFA_GovNL @JPS_GovNL@TI_GovNL @CSSD_GovNL This advice should specify respirators, like N95 respirators. "Masks" such as fabric and surgical ones are not typically well fitting, and do not provide sufficient protection.
@TarynOnthenews@MamaCassOFee@yaneerbaryam Also, something like 95% of the population has had Covid now, so it doesn't seem to matter how weak or strong your immune system is.
@Linda__Stevens@yaneerbaryam A significant difference is that most people don't get the flu often - maybe once a decade. Folks are catching Covid 1-2 times per year. So we might expect to see an increase in cancer rates.
@chrisprice@J__Doh@MS66546755@keetmuise Guy posts a reply days later and then blocks me. He's not interested in hearing why his story doesn't support what he claims.
@chrisprice@J__Doh@MS66546755@keetmuise "Reports." Got it.
Are there documented cases from these other sports that have been shown to be actually caused by the mask and not other underlying conditions - like say, after-effects of Covid? Because there were absolutely Olympic athletes collapsing due to infection.
