Great visit with Jennifer Sirangelo (CEO of Points of Light), Mimi Mitchell (CEO of Volunteer Hampton Roads), and fellow board members Lyn Langman and Tage Counts. Both organizations hosted and assisted the HW Bush in deploying 2,000 sailors to 41 service projects today.

Strong representation of VWU faculty and staff supporting Girls on the Run (GOTR) at their annual “Sneaker Soirée” this evening. GOTR of Hampton Roads is located on our campus and has served nearly 22,000 girls in the area since 2006.
