@wandbc @CllrSimonHogg @WBC_Help Spent some of last Sat clearing around these bins & further along Thames Path. PLEASE can you ask to clear these more often. Can you imagine what's blowing into the river and along Thames Path? #litterattractslitter #communitymatters #keepitclean

[Battersea Beach Clean Group @BatterseaBeach]

@WBC_Help @wandbc Thank however, today again... EVERY single bin from Battersea Bridge to St Mary's Church Battersea - completely overflowing. All litter blowing into Thames and across the path... PLEASE can something regular be done! The bins after the Railway Bridge are all completely clear?

@wandbc @WBC_Help
This a.m. - bin is constantly overflowing - 1st one on the Thames Path from Battersea Bridge towards St Mary's Church. 🙏 Please can it be cleared more often? All of this overflowing litter will blow into the river. 🙏 #litterattractslitter #keepbritaintidy

[Battersea Beach Clean Group @BatterseaBeach]

@WBC_Help @wandbc Thank you, I will take it up with Councillor Judi Gasser @JudiG and the relevant MPs. Stopping the waste from entering our waterways is an important consideration to be taken into account. Thank you for your response, much appreciated.

[Battersea Beach Clean Group @BatterseaBeach]

@wandbc @WBC_Help How to arrange meeting with someone relevant at the council to discuss more regular waste collections along Thames Path? These pics, nr Oyster Wharf, blow straight into the river - since yesterday pm - still uncollected. 🙏 help? #litterattractslitter

Tonight at 9pm on @Channel4

Climate breakdown is happening all around us – floods , fires , droughts , crop shortages . . . thousands of people are dying

So I ask a simple question – 'Is It Time to Break the Law to protest for the planet' ?

Strangest thing we've found so far on a Thames foreshore clean-up!

How do I arrange a meeting with someone relevant at the council to discuss more regular waste collections along the Thames Path during summer? This pic near Hotel Rafayel - blows straight into the river. 🙏 help? #litterattractslitter #endplasticpollution

[Battersea Beach Clean Group @BatterseaBeach]

@lb_southwark These images are taken 8 days apart, and unfortunately a week previous, was still decomposing body fat on the fox - too awful to take a picture. I've reported this several times... still there... Council estate next to it, Southwark bins 2 metres ahead. Not removed!

[Battersea Beach Clean Group @BatterseaBeach]

@wandbc @keepbritaintidy Thanks for your help with in the past Wandsworth Council, but we need proper bins here PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 🙏. This is what is happening as the bins have now been taken away 😱... more litter and plastic pollution in the river. Can you help?

[Battersea Beach Clean Group @BatterseaBeach]

@wandbc Please help Wandsworth Council 🙏 3rd day in a row now - No collection. Litter attracts litter and it blows into the river. (next to slipway at 116 Battersea Church Road) Thank you #litterattractslitter #keepitclean #plasticfree @BatterseaParish

[Plastic Pollutes @PlasticPollutes]

A new study shows that plastics workers are at an increased risk for cancers & health issues—& people who live near plastic production & disposal sites are at an increased risk for serious health issues. 🚨 #BreakFreeFromPlastic https://t.co/oUeO9HhKnC

@wandbc @PutneyFleur PLEASE help! This bin, about 15 metres along Thames Path from Battersea Bridge towards Old Swan Wharf - constantly overflowing. 2 days now without being emptied! #plasticlitter all over and blowing into Thames! More bins & empty regularly please🙏 #Thames21

[Battersea Beach Clean Group @BatterseaBeach]

@wandbc Bins along the Thames Path, near Battersea Bridge end... Daylight image taken this a.m. and same bins this evening. Any idea why these aren't cleared daily? Unfortunately, much of this contributes to the plastic and litter in the Thames. Please help 🙏

[Battersea Beach Clean Group @BatterseaBeach]

@wandbc Hello there, our @Thames21 River Action Group collected 19 bags of plastic and other waste today from Battersea foreshore. Just a reminder to collect them please, as arranged with Frogmore 🙏
