🚶🚶Launch of "ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ Hejje-GALA" initiative by the Chief Commissioner:

With the objective of promoting walking and cycling across the jurisdictions of the five City Corporations under the Greater Bengaluru Authority, a unique initiative titled “ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ Hejje-GALA" has been conceptualized under the leadership of WRI India, Walkaluru and Urban Morph. This three-month initiative will feature a series of engaging and innovative activities involving citizens as well as corporate leaders and industry representatives.

The Chief Commissioner of the Greater Bengaluru Authority, Sri Maheshwar Rao, formally launched this innovative initiative today morning near Gate-3 of the Vidhana Soudha Metro Station.

BDA commissioner, Bengaluru north city corporation commissioner and other officials, citizens as well as corporate leaders and industry representatives were present.
