my favourite thing about traffic noise is that at speeds above 40 km/h there is basically no difference between electric and ICE cars. and noise is insanely bad for human health. there is literally one correct urban mobility policy approach and its still mostly dismissed as woke
the right thinking that people hanging out outside and having fun is “violence and riots” it’s why they love suburbs so much and hate cities. they hate and fear community
The people smugly gloating that young people will just have to 'find something else to do' in response to the social media bans are usually the exact same people who seethe with anger and make reports about 'loitering' whenever they have to share public spaces with teenagers.
Local news did an entire segment featuring a guy who's mad about having to drive more carefully.
It's a reminder that you can't put safety improvements up for a Yes/No vote.
