As forecast, it started snowing (lightly) at about 14:50 in TN33 0LD. Not settling at 15:00....
Interesting how weather vane indicates a very slight air movement from the NNE, yet cloud was forecast as coming from the S.
Overall, all morning, very little observable wind speed.

Now snowing quite heavily in TN33 0LD and settling.
Outside temp = 1.1°C
Wind speed = 0, but last from the NNE, so flakes (small) falling vertically

Overnight first frost of the year in the TN33 area, around 0.4°C at 08:00Z... already under totally blue sky - no clouds - 1.2°C at 09:45.

Yesterday was just a whisker off my local 24hr rainfall record with,41.4mm.
After previous few days not surprised to see some local road flooding.

@GillianKeegan From my viewpoint, you should have challenged, on camera, the ill informed poorly researched non-analytical questioning - the media needs to be told in no uncertain terms what the issues are. Then the public can make their own judgements.

@thatginamiller From what I saw of the interview, yet more completely non-analytical questioning. UK media, generally, is in a rut - not just politicians. I am not surprised at her frustration; why do we not see in the edited piece the interviewee putting the questioner on the spot?

There are "X"symbols all over the place. The Twitter Bird was totally recognizable, possibly unique; but the Musk "X" is just very, very unimaginative. 👎

Yesterday at 07:00 **41.7mm** of rain in last 24hrs! (My local record in any 24hrs...)
Today at 07:00 clearish sky, dry and -4.5ºC

At 07:00Z on 2022-12-19 it was exactly 10ºC higher than 24 hours before when it was 0.3ºC
And due to overnight rain onto the frozen snow it has has been washed away.
(Now I can go to collect my car and get it back up the hill to our driveway - after 7 days!)
