We've been keeping the artwork for Battleborn pretty close to vest - the better to melt your faces with when you pick up the first few issues - but we figure the sword-and-sorcery faithful deserve a glimmer of the glory that awaits in the first couple issues of BATTLEBORN!

@JonathanKoan Backers get the first physical copies as soon as they're off the presses. That will remain true for all three issues.
We haven't forgotten who got us this far. Never will.

@PaladinDragoon Backers get first copies - and should have already received a digital goodie bag full of ebooks.
If not, one of our interns is going to face the horsewhipping of their life!

Happy 122nd birthday to Manly Wade Wellman, famous for his Appalachian and Southern twist on fantasy and sword-and-sorcery, including perhaps his most famous creation, the silver-stringed guitarist JOHN THE BALLADEER.
Who among you have a favorite story of John or Wellman?
Let us remember the great Roger Zelazny, born on this day in 1937. Be it for his CHRONICLES OF AMBER or DILVISH THE DAMNED, few authors of sword-and-sorcery or heroic fantasy ever did so with the touch of surrealism and myth Zelazny did.
Do you have a favorite Zeleazny story?
Been too long since I posted about knives.
This is the Battleborn. 20 of these are out there right now, on their way to backers of the @BattlebornMag.
It's the only knife I've made so far that isn't a wholly original design, although I did draft the pattern myself based on the logo, with some concessions made for practical purposes and the requirements of a thrower.
If you happen to acquire one, know that it should meet size requirements for a WKTL range, if they're not being stickers and require only their brands. I have a variety of patterns that meet those requirements for ranges that use their standards but aren't actually sanctioned.
Got a big event in less than two weeks, so I'm putting a small stock together of a few of my designs to showcase and sell, along with some gifts.
More on all that in a few weeks.
For good S&S start with the Holy Trinity Conan (RE Howard specifically), Elric (Moorecock) and Fafard and the Gray Mouser (Lieber).
I'll let other Dawg Brothas and Sword Sistas recommend more. But for me this is your starting point.
