During March is Reading Month, Bauer students are dismissed and allowed to seek out a teacher of their choice and listen to a read-a-loud in what we call 'Read Around the School'. Students love this event!

First graders are learning about animal adaptations. They used an assortment of "beaks" to pick up odd shaped items to demonstrate why birds have different types.

4th graders were challenged to create an animal from life or imagination using a pinch pot technique. Additionally, students learned about functional vs. nonfunctional pottery. In their next class period they will add color and detail to their work.
