A little piece of history many Nigerians may not know. 📜

Long before NELFUND, Nigeria already had a student loan system. This newspaper publication from March 7, 1980, shows the Nigerian Students Loans Board inviting applications for postgraduate loans

What we know today as NELFUND is therefore not the birth of student loans in Nigeria, but the revival and modernization of a long-standing idea: ensuring that no Nigerian is denied higher education because of financial constraints.

Day One in Office – Work in Progress

One of my core promises was that within my first 60 days in office, we would establish an anonymous reporting system through which students can freely submit their concerns, complaints, and welfare challenges.
