Junta Airstrike Slaughter in Mindat: 4 Students Killed, 10 Injured
The junta bombed two villages in Mindat Township at around 7 PM on Oct 8, killing 4 young students and wounding approximately 10 more, according to local sources.
The United States expresses its support for the people of Burma, including Rohingya and other ethnic groups who have been subjected to violence and displacement. On 9 April at midnight, the junta deliberately carried out an airstrike on Saizang village, Tedim Township, killing six family members, including women and children.
On April 3, during a humanitarian ceasefire to aid earthquake victims, the India-based Zomi Revolutionary Army (ZRA) burned 80 homes in Nakzang village, Tonzang, Chin State. The ZRA, the juntaโs ally ttacked Tonzang an area freed from junta control in 2023 by CNA and allies.
Relief supplies including medicine, rice, salt & oil have arrived in Rihkhuadar. While the timing & route for further delivery remain kept confidential due to security concerns, the Chinland Council is supporting storage & transport to ensure aid reaches those in need.
On April 3, 12 truckloads of relief supplies from the Indian govt arrived safely in Rihkhuadar, Chinland for Myanmar earthquake victims โ with support from the Chinland Council, which is providing security and assistance to deliver aid further into Sagaing and Mandalay regions.
