@Death_Bow Furnished most of my first apartment with "garbage"...sidewalk finds. We had the corner piece of a sectional but no sectional. Single bed with no boxspring with a cot mattress on top. Dreamed of finding a milk crate. Never got that lucky.

@Jeff_DeLuca I feel you. The stigma is more difficult to deal with than the logistics. This is a frustrating and isolating disease. Thank you for your words! I needed a reminder there are other people with Celiac Disease who are going through the same thing as me.

In closing, don’t roll your eyes at gluten-free people. It’s stigmatizing bullshit. Celiacs don’t have a choice but to be vigilant and planful about where and how we eat. Our ability to lead healthy lives is completely dependent on it 8/end
