For Year 7 students, they received a letter from Hogwarts asking them for some potion assistance! The students had to design, make the potion and create a sales pitch to Professor Grimm to sell back at Hogwarts.

We have thoroughly loved to see the whole school engaging in Day to Create and we would like to say a massive thank you to Mrs Roberts for making this possible for our students. We hope you enjoy the photos our the student’s creations!

Year 10s and 12s got “Down to Business”. They created a portfolio for trainers they had designed. Not only this, but they completed competitor research, designed their trainer and display it to they peers. Move over Jordans, make way for Spikey Hikey! @Artsmarkaward #DaytoCreate

Year 9 students were involved in Formula Baxter where they were tasked to create their own vehicle. They had to draw the concept first, create a model and note down it’s features. Then they had to create a 3D model of the design they had made!

Students from Years 7 and 8 also got the chance to make rockets and visit the on-site planetarium which we hear was a huge hit for our budding scientists!

Year 8 students got involved in Baxter Boost and they were tasked to design and make a new, healthy boost drink for the school catering company! You can see Mr Ravenhall was our first tester! No music teachers were harmed in the making of these drinks! @Artsmarkaward #DaytoCreate

Year 6 students had to create an art piece to demonstrate what their secret world is like! They had to present it to their peers and it was really interesting to hear! We heard there were chocolate fountains and rollercoasters! @Artsmarkaward #DaytoCreate

On Wednesday 29th June, we held our Baxter College #DayToCreate in celebration of the @Artsmarkaward Day to Create day which is being held today, 6th July 2022!
