@emilykmay Absolutely would love this! One of the only ways I could or would truly “vacation”, considering affordability, loneliness, and safety. I would also WANT to contribute, whether financially or through help.
My physical health has been a bit wonky lately and it’s served as a reminder that receiving care is a vulnerable thing. There’s an intimacy, even in friendship, involved in someone not only doing your grocery shopping but coming over to fold your laundry while you sit and eat.
In the end, we all are summoned before the judgment seat of Christ—not of public opinion, not of the laws of any given state. Each of us stands alone, no herd to hide in, no institution to invoke to explain our actions. Each alone receives a ruling from Christ for our lived life.

I do not say this lightly or hastily but with fear & trembling after much deliberation. I think we are experiencing a divine reckoning in America. I don’t think the reckoning is over our having simply sinned. I think it’s over the fact that we have used God & the Bible to do it.
