Team Weingart are your 2024 Bay Rec Basketball Champions! They defeated a lights out shooting Team Krueger 40-34. Jack Krueger led in scoring with 12 points (4 3-pointers) and Liam O’Leary led team Weingart in scoring with 10 points. Another great year of Rec in the books!
Team Trefz wins bronze and comes in third place this year! They defeated Team Williams 52-45 and Spencer Grace was the leading scorer with 19 points.
Team Allan beat Team Conway 69-28. Sacha Jones led all scorers with 16 points on the day.
Team Gaffney ends their season with a win, defeating Team Bly 52-42. Travis Ropelewski led all scorers with 25 points.
Team Peachman defeats Team Sutherland 41-36 with the help of Rocco Ereditario. He was the leading scorer with 19 points, also his season high.
Championship Day! Come out at 12 pm for Weingart (6-1) vs Krueger (5-2)!
Team Bly defeats Team Allan 36-26 in the last game of the day. Michael Foreman led all scorers with 13 points.
Team Conway ends their losing streak and defeats Team Peachman 65-64. Not much defense was played this game as shown by the offensive display. Lute Harmon led all scorers with 22 points and Sam G was right behind him with 21.
Team Gaffney wins 48-39 against Team Sutherland. Jack Gaffney led all scorers with 24 points.
Team Weingart will move on to the championship after beating Team Trefz 32-28. It was a defensive battle and the game came down to the wire until Mac Weingart hit a free throw to put Weingart up by 4. Liam O’Leary led in scoring with 9.
Team Krueger will advance to the Championship after they defeated the #1 seed Team Williams 42-30. Team Krueger showed their chemistry having everyone score 4 or more points. Carter Ormsby led the game in scoring with 12.
Schedule for Round 2 today:
Team Allan defeats Team Sutherland 48-31. Jayden Perrine was the leading scorer with 14 points.
Team Weingart wins in convincing fashion, 64-34, against Team Conway. Liam O’Leary and Ryan Lesh had 19 points each.
Team Trefz had the big upset of the day against Team Peachman. They won 37-36 and Benjamin Jameson and Spencer Grace each had 10 points.
Team Krueger defeats Team Bly 53-43. Michael Foreman was the leading scorer with 15 points.
Team Williams moves on after beating Team Gaffney 53-35. Travis Ropelewski led all scorers with 18 points.
Team Krueger defeats Team Gaffney 52-42. The stats for the game will be posted on a later date in the replies.
