@TomBramble1960@0zCommHistory At that stage, the main violence had and would be against its own members through mass "anti-informer" campaigns between 1985-88. Joma would come to cynically link these disasters to the CPP opposition in the 1992-3 faction fights.
@0zCommHistory haha those were the days! People were interested in the Philippines. De la Torre's popular democrats would break from the CPP/NDF in year or so. Both played a big role in the anti-dictatorship movement. The CPP's (self-) marginalisation in the EDSA revolt was confounding though.
