Yes he scored twice in the DFB Pokal final in 2020 when Bayern were already in front.

The 2019 DFB-Pokal final was more influential.

In 2020 he also scored in the CL semifinal, but it was Lyon and Bayern were already 2-0 up.

He then had an opportunity in the CL final and CWC final but failed to score in either.

Kane is more clutch. This season alone he scored 4 out of 5 goals we scored in finals. He also scored in each of his last 7 CL matches.

Yep. Toni and Gomez both scored a brace in a DFB-Pokal final, Mandzukic scored the opener in the Champions League final and Kane scored a hat trick in the DFB-Pokal final.

Lewandowski scored more goals than these guys and his most important goals are what exactly, when he broke the Bundesliga scoring record or the 5 goals in 9 mins? Those are personal victories.

@iMiaSanMia Davies has problems with availability but his level is still high. He literally came on at the end and assisted to turn a loss into a draw in each of his last two matches.

Furthermore, the German NT with Nagelsmann at the helm currently enjoys the longest winning streak since West Germany in 1980 (stopped during the 1980 Euro by a 0-0 against Greece in the group stage).

I'd say something truly disappointing needs to happen for Nagelsmann to lose his job.

Nagelsmann hat erwähnt, dass El Mala in den letzten zweieinhalb Wochen keine Spielpraxis hatte, während Assan Ouédraogo deutlich mehr Spielrhythmus und Fitness mitbringt – das sei offenbar der Grund, warum er nicht nominiert wurde.

Ich finde, der DFB könnte sich hier ruhig ein Beispiel an England nehmen. Auch wenn Spieler wie Rio Ngumoha, Alex Scott, Ethan Nwaneri und Josh King nicht in den finalen 26-Mann-Kader für die Weltmeisterschaft berufen wurden, hat England sie trotzdem ins Trainingslager geholt. So können sie mit der A-Mannschaft trainieren, ihre Fitness verbessern und die Mitspieler sowie das System besser kennenlernen.

Zusätzlich zum 26-Mann-Kader könnte man doch vier weitere Trainingsspieler mitnehmen. Dann wäre man bei Verletzungen oder Ausfällen direkt vorbereitet und hätte Spieler, die bereits eingespielt, integriert und matchfit sind.

Nagelsmann hat das übrigens bereits vor der EM 2024 mit Brajan Gruda und Rocco Reitz gemacht und zuletzt mit Jonas Urbig, der außerhalb des offiziellen Kaders mit dem Team trainiert hat – als Absicherung, falls Neuers Verletzung schlimmer werden sollte.

Wenn ich an Nagelsmanns Stelle wäre, würde ich Spieler wie Said El Mala, Tom Bischof, Assan Ouédraogo sowie Nicolo Tresoldi oder Dzenan Pejcinovic als Trainingsspieler mitnehmen. Sie könnten zunächst ihre Fitness und taktische Abstimmung aufbauen. Sollte dann jemand wie Pascal Groß, Lennart Karl, Maxi Beier, Nick Woltemade oder Nadiem Amiri ausfallen, hätten wir sofort einsatzbereite, spielstarke Ersatzleute parat. Die Ausrede mit der fehlenden Fitness würde dann nicht mehr ziehen.
