It’s not a pivot it’s an addition, and is incredibly smart. There’s already a market for the IP (the gamers) and an almost untapped market of non gamers who don’t already know these stories.

If they see good stories on the big screen or TV they’re more likely to buy the game than if there isn’t another form of media to introduce it to them.
