I never imagined Ibadan-Oyo express has degenerated to this state. How does his Imperial Majesty Pass to Ibadan when he travels? That road should rank top on the list of worst roads in the South west. Eye sore
The next manager we might be asking to leave after Pep Guardiola left could be Mikel Arteta.
He’s not folding. I thought they might lose to Sunderland today, but somehow they found a way to win.
Real Madrid or even Juventus should come in for him. We need to save the league from another monster of a coach.
He plays with four CBs and two DMs who could also play as CBs, so it’s extremely hard to break them down. He has tall, physical attackers like Havertz too.
He should leave.
Beneath the drum lies the head of Alaafin Oluewu, Sarkin Borgu, Sarkin Kaiama and Sarkin Wawa. Beaten for the Emir to remind him he reigns supreme over them 👀😁
101-YEAR-OLD GREAT-GRANDMOTHER ARRESTED AS NDLEA INTERCEPTS COCAINE IN FUFU
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a 101-year-old woman for alleged drug dealing, intercepted cocaine concealed in edible cassava flour popularly known as fufu, and seized consignments of illicit drugs worth over N4.4 billion in separate operations across the country.
The centenarian, identified as Esther Ogunmabo, was arrested on August 15, 2026, at Ilisan, Ogun State, with 90 grammes of skunk, a strain of cannabis, which she reportedly admitted selling in retail quantities. She told operatives that she turned to drug dealing after her provisions shop was destroyed by fire, adding that one of her daughters based in Lagos supplied her with cannabis every four days. NDLEA Chairman, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), directed that she be granted bail and placed on counselling due to her advanced age, while her daughter was arrested.
In Akwa Ibom, NDLEA operatives on August 21 intercepted a wooden boat conveying illicit drugs towards fishing settlements in Cameroon and arrested three suspects with 42.622kg of narcotics. The seizure included 42.06kg of skunk, 1.12kg of skunk, and 20 grammes of cocaine cleverly concealed inside a large wrap of edible cassava fufu, alongside 435 grammes of skunk.
The Agency also recorded what it described as its first seizure of illicit drugs shipped from Thailand through the maritime corridor after intercepting two containers of cannabis indica, popularly known as Loud, at the Apapa and Lekki ports in Lagos. The Apapa container, declared to contain dry fish, rice, vehicle spare parts, turmeric soap and inverter batteries, contained 1,090.5kg of Thai Loud, while the Lekki container yielded 400kg. The combined street value of the consignments was put at over N4.4 billion.
In the FCT, operatives intercepted three waybill packages containing 24,410 tramadol capsules inside a Hummer bus travelling from Enugu to Zuba on August 22. A follow-up operation in Niger State led to the arrest of the alleged owner, 28-year-old Sunday Eze, in Kontagora.
In Ondo State, NDLEA operatives destroyed 10,000kg of skunk cultivated across four hectares at Ijare forest, Ifedore LGA, and separately recovered 210kg of skunk and a Toyota Camry at Ita-Ogbolu. Other operations led to the seizure of 1.325kg of methamphetamine and cannabis in Kwara; 4.68kg of assorted illicit drugs from a 65-year-old woman in Oyo; 73.3kg of skunk in Kano; 48kg of skunk from three family members near Seme in Lagos; and 14.4kg of Loud, 2.3kg of Colorado, tramadol and Rohypnol in Abia.
The NDLEA also sustained its War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) sensitisation campaigns across schools, worship centres, workplaces and communities in several states. Marwa commended officers and men of the affected commands for the successful operations and urged them to sustain the Agency’s balanced approach to drug control through enforcement, prevention and public education.

Oyo state’s economy is just like a balance sheet. I know how to read it, manage it, and make it grow.
I am aware of where we have been, I understand where we are today, and I am confident I know what we need next.

Sir, he’s dealing with an Asiwaju’s presidency that knows how to court and settle politicians….if the elections were to be held during the Buhari presidency, the election would be a walkover for him
Adeleke may have a good heart. He may not be a total failure as administrator but he is a poor politician. He does not manage relationships well. Almost all the people who helped him win the last time have deserted him.
I Sold My Car for N180k and Bought an Okada to Survive, but Ended Up Having Multiple Accidents With It— Veteran Actor Sunday Afolabi Breaks Down in Tears
Veteran Nollywood actor Sunday Afolabi has opened up about the difficult period he has faced since relocating to Badagry, revealing that the move has negatively affected his acting career and left him struggling to make ends meet.
Afolabi made the emotional revelation during an interview with Biola Adebayo on the Talk to B podcast, where he recalled how he went from being a familiar face on television to taking up different jobs just to survive.
According to the actor, he relocated to Badagry because he wanted to own a house, but the decision came with serious setbacks to his career.
He said he eventually lost his Nissan Quest after being unable to afford repairs, adding that the vehicle remained unused for almost two years while acting and photography jobs became scarce.
“I actually sold my Nissan Quest to buy a fairly used motorcycle,” Afolabi said, revealing that he sold the car for just N180,000. He explained that he was not accustomed to riding motorcycles and repeatedly fell while using it.
The actor became emotional while recounting what his wife and children had gone through with him during the difficult period.
He also recalled an encounter with a man who recognised him as a television star but was shocked to see him struggling. According to Afolabi, the man told him, “You are a TV star, if you don’t know what to do, go back to the city and meet your people.”
“What I h@te most in my life is to beg for food. I would rather do any legitimate job,” he said.
He added that he is willing to work and would use a good car for Uber if given one.
Following his revelation, Biola Adebayo appealed to the public to support the veteran actor, saying she hopes to help him secure a car, better accommodation and a means of livelihood through the Talk to B platform.
