That's a reasonable price actually.

To do it yourself you would need some specialty tools including a type of soft plastic 'sausage' you heat in the microwave and put around the phone to soften the glue holding the back on. Not worth attempting if it's just one phone you're repairing, but I used to be an IT manager and my job included doing this on iPhone and android, so the specialty kit was a good investment.
