@JamesFLoveIV @MtLuke4 How can you honestly say we have a financial system that works? How has the dollar preserved its value over the last 50 years? If any central entity has a money printer, that money can never work. How can people contest that?
@doggintrump Typical post. Arrogant in its confidence but clueless. Bitcoin is not crypto. If you're anti Bitcoin, you're either incompetent and uneducated about it (fair) or a bad faith actor
@his_eminence_j Have you ever considered that you might not understand decentralised, programmed money that is not controlled by a centralised authority and cannot be printed on demand? That money represents the value you produce and its stolen through inflation?
@ebschor@Fly_Over_Guy@saylor I'm actually interested in an honest conversation about Bitcoin, and happy to share my understanding about it. I honestly don't think you can back up the snake oil arguments, or the greater fool asset. I'm legitimately interested for you to explain how you came to that conclusion
@FHrogue@OwenBenjamin So because some guy couldn't explain it to you, and you can't understand it, its pixie dust? Wow. Incredible take. Bitcoin makes absolute sense because a hard, programmable asset makes sense. Many many people understand it perfectly. Sadly, you do not. That's ok.
@OwenBenjamin Sir, now I'm confused ๐. I wasn't joking, I was merely replying genuinely to your sarcastic post about Bitcoin, which to me clearly showed your lack of understanding of money. It's possible I read it wrongly though.
@ebschor@Fly_Over_Guy@saylor The rich argument is pretty nuanced to be fair. I'd argue having the 0.1BTC vs the equivalent dollar value is always the better option. The point is converting the crumbling fiat for the hardest asset.
But calling Bitcoin snake oil is incredibly disingenuous.
@researcher_paul@nabeelqu Tbh it doesn't even remotely matter that its a "quiet car." Imagine doing these things in any car, or any public place. How tone deaf and selfish do you have to be. Absolutely baffles me. We live in a society, nobody wants obnoxious assholes around.
@brandonehill @JackNiewold - someone bring a billionaire does not take away money from you or anyone else.
- the government is not your friend as is abysmal at distributing taxes. Let's not give them any more.
- the rich mostly CREATE, the government does not, and they already pay the most
- grow up
@JENBROOK8@Londondwel77743@PeterMcCormack@ZackPolanski@garyseconomics Do you believe in the economical idea of taxing the rich more than others (percentage wise) to the extent that you believe it can make a difference to a broad economy and to others lives? Serious question. Would love to discuss.
@ArtemisConsort This was such a great read. I salute you, sir. Well done. You are now seeing the world in its true form, in my humble opinion, and from here you can only get stronger and create, build, and positively influence your circle.
God bless you.
