It was the only rule of @ThisIs_Progress by @jimsmallman but seriously, can anyone think of a time when “Don’t Be A Dick” wasn’t just a good life rule which is applicable to almost every scenario. Struggling to to think of a time/event when that rule wouldn’t solve it. #BeKind
@swissprimo @AEW Someone has since explained to me how they work like the College Football rankings & it involves weighting based on opponent, which I’ll be honest, I still don’t fully get but 🤷🏻♂️ good enough. 👍🏻
@swissprimo @AEW Ha ha, mate I am chilled, as I said I love the show, I think they’re smashing it with almost everything they do. And I like the rankings & every match matters thing. Legit just want to understand how the rankings actually work because they don’t make sense to me.
@AEW And before I get trolled for being a hater, I am a big fan of what AEW are doing. Loving the show & love the rankings idea, just can’t understand how they’re working.
@AEW Can someone please explain these to me? Why does Christian’s 7-0 outrank Darby’s 16-2 & Statlander’s 14-0 outrank Rosa’s 25-2 but Varsity Blonds’ 18-4 & Jurassic’s 10-2 somehow outrank Luchas 8-0 & FTR’s 6-0? Also how do The Blonds have 18-4 when Pillman has 16-4 tag record? #AEW
Why do wrestlers take such care to hide the fact they’ve removed the turnbuckle pad from the ref like throwing their opponent into it would get them DQ’d but they’d happily slam their opponent’s head into the steel steps and ring post? #wrestlinglogic#WWE#OldSchoolWrestling
@mikelowkey The correct answer is The Happening. All other guesses are wrong. Just in case you’re not convinced; Mark Wahlberg has a battle with plants and trees who (in rebellion against humans destroying the planet) are releasing a chemical which causes them to commit suicide.
@gaspargomezjr@SalN03@SeanRossSapp Fair enough, I get it, there are some others that cause me to do that but Miz I find entertaining, and yeah he’s irritating at times but I think that’s kind of what he’s going for. Now, when my hand goes up, your tweet goes shut. 😉🙋🏻♂️
@gaspargomezjr@SalN03@SeanRossSapp You have to remember also that so much of what WWE stars have to say & do is scripted for them & is aimed at a PG/Family audience so it often sounds cheesy/insincere. I think Miz does a good job of making it entertaining. Also, gimmicked or not, that bump at Mania 35 took guts.
@gaspargomezjr@SalN03@SeanRossSapp Ah man, I think this is harsh. I think Miz is v entertaining tbh. He’s not going to make a Top 10 All Time Technicians list but he’s kept himself relevant & on TV for so long. Watching him host Tough Enough showed some of his real personality too, he’s funny & he’s a great heel.
@MikeTannacore@FightfulWrestle Loved that film as a kid. Tbf, some of the ones people have named are better but Bodyslam was pure 80s class. That cast was great.....and they had Face from the A-Team! Can’t find this film anywhere now. 😕
@ForeverMatt83@RetrosoftStudio Beer Money were great. Those matches in TNA between Beer Money, The Motor City Machine Guns & The Young Bucks (or Generation Me at the time) had the best tag team chemistry I’d seen since the Hardy Boyz, Dudleys and Edge & Christian matches.
🤔If we’re all going to have to start wearing masks long term to protect ourselves from corona virus then it seems like there is only one sensible solution.... ☔️#Villain@MartyScurll
Fantastic episode of #AEWDynamite under very difficult circumstances. So creative, so innovative and so entertaining. Credit to all involved @AEWonTNT @AEWrestling - Too much great content to pick highlights to be honest, really enjoyed it.
