Toro Kingdom recognizes the life changing significance of sports development as a cornerstone for community well-being, youth empowerment, and socio-economic growth. Rukirabasaija Omukama envisions a vibrant Kingdom where sporting activities flourish, uphold discipline, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among the populace especially young people. This vision aligns seamlessly with initiatives that promote organized sports, nurture talent, and provide platforms for healthy competition.

It is in this spirit that the @NyakasuraLeague stands as a commendable endeavor, embodying the very essence of Rukirabasaija Omukama’s vision. Established in 2022, the Nyakasura Alumni League is an association born from the rich legacy of @NyakasuraSchool, a venerable institution founded in 1926 in @FortPortalCity1, Toro Kingdom.

Membership in this association is exclusively comprised of former students of Nyakasura School.
The primary objective of @NyakasuraLeague is to forge a robust network among the school's alumni, facilitating socialization, knowledge exchange, mutual support, and, notably, engaging in co-curricular activities, particularly football. The league's mission is to leverage sports as a vehicle for socialization, resource mobilization, information sharing, and creating opportunities for fellow alumni. Its vision is to cultivate a stable and interconnected community of Nyakasura School alumni.

The league's structure organizes football clubs based on class cohorts, typically spanning six-year intervals. Since its inception, Nyakasura Alumni League has experienced consistent growth, boasting 14 registered cohorts/clubs, ranging from early 2000s alumni to the most recent. The league has successfully completed two seasons, with the third season currently underway, featuring 11 competing clubs. To date, two match days have been played out of seven scheduled for the season.
Blast Furnace FC (Alumni Class of 2011-2016) were the inaugural season champions, while SC Calwell (Alumni class of 2016-2022) currently holds the title as defending champions.
The grandeur of the Season 2 Grand Finale in 2024, held at Fort Portal City Booma grounds, was significantly elevated by the presence of notable alumni, including the Chancellor of @Makerere, The Honourable Dr. @ChrispusKiyonga, accompanied by former Headteacher Mr. Frank Manyindo Apuuli, among other distinguished guests.
