Don’t compress medical education just to fit an examination calendar. Students need time to learn, practise, revise and become competent doctors—not simply time to finish a syllabus.

🚨 Bihar MBBS Students Need Urgent Intervention!

BUHS has effectively reduced the 2nd-year MBBS academic term to just 4 months for students who cleared 1st year through supplementary exams and 6 months for others, instead of the NMC-mandated 39 weeks.

This is severely affecting students’ academics and causing immense anxiety.

We urgently appeal to @NMC_BHARAT @MoHFW_INDIA @BiharHealthDept @officecmbihar to intervene and protect our academic careers.

Students need justice, not uncertainty. 🙏🏻😭

2nd Year MBBS students of Bihar deserve a fair academic timeline. 🩺📚
Those who cleared their 1st Professional in February are now facing the 2nd Professional exams in September, while supplementary students whose results came in June are being given barely 3 months to prepare.
When NMC prescribes a 12-month duration for the professional course, why are students being forced into such unequal preparation periods?
We are not asking for an unfair advantage — we are asking for equal opportunity, adequate preparation time, and implementation of the prescribed academic schedule. @BiharHealthDept
