Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre is a registered charity; supporting the community in the prevention, detection and support of cancer and other health concerns.
Children spend hours in the sun at camp. Without the right protection, that can mean sunburn today, and increased risk
of skin cancer later in life. Ask your camp one question:
Are you SunSmart accredited? It’s a simple step that helps ensure your child is being protected.
Care is defined by people.
When professionalism meets compassion, patients feel the
difference.
We are proud of the team behind the care.

Healthcare should make life easier, not harder.
“Care systems must reduce burden, not add to it.”
We continue working with partners to improve coordination and
patient experience.

“You can do everything right clinically and still leave someone feeling like they’ve been kicked to the curb.”
We are committed to ensuring patients feel supported at every step of their journey.
We would like to thank the organisations who supported our recent Centre-Wide Day. Your support is appreciated and reflects the strong connection between Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre and the community we serve.
Earlier this year, we held a Centre-wide day, hearing from patients, partners, leaders & our team. While each perspective was different, a consistent message emerged: care is not only what we deliver, but how it is experienced.
Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre will be closed for the holidays from December 24th at 12:30 PM through January 1st. We will reopen on January 2nd, 2026.
Wishing our patients, families, and community a safe, peaceful, and healthy holiday season.
Anti-inflammatory diets can decrease your risk of several cancers and other
health problems.
Other ways to decrease inflammation include physical activity, stress management and avoiding
tobacco.
Ultra-processed foods have
been linked to a greater risk of 12 health conditions, including colorectal, breast and
ovarian cancers. Replace ultra-processed foods with whole or minimally processed foods like whole grains,
fruits, vegetables, beans, eggs and lean meats instead.

The PSA test is a prostate-specific antigen blood test.
When there is a high level of PSA protein (made by cells in the prostate gland) in the
blood, it can indicate that a man should have further testing for prostate cancer.

Men with a father, brother, or uncle diagnosed with prostate cancer, especially if they
were under 65, should start the conversation by age 40. Black men are at higher risk and should also discuss PSA screening early.
