Amanda faced a choice. Her unknown captor had bound her meticulously and painfully tight. He barked something in his harsh, grating language and simply walked ahead. For a split second, Amanda hesitated. Should she make a run for it? But reality hit her fast - escaping was a death sentence. Bound like this, she had absolutely no way to defend herself against wild beasts, and she had no illusions that they would appear sooner or later. She couldn't even use her hands to get a drink of water, and a burning thirst was already tearing at her throat.

So, naked and defenseless, she followed her tormentor. He didn't even bother to look back to check if she was trailing behind him. He knew perfectly well she had no other option. Every now and then, he would just yell back in that guttural dialect, rushing her forward.

The new owner inspected her teeth, her body... he was excruciatingly thorough.

But at dawn today, another brute appeared. He didn't bother buying her. He simply slaughtered her owner in the dirt and claimed her as his prize. Once again, she was dragged away. And now she was here, thrown into a camp full of these monsters.

Morning Spoils - The Renegade's Catch

After weeks of heavy coding and tweaking my custom DAZ scripts, I finally put them to the ultimate test. The world of Urtagh is alive, and it's as brutal as ever.

Early morning in the renegade camp. Barakh-kha returns from patrol with a valuable catch. He had to fight for her, but it was a short bout. The fool who tried to keep her is already coyote meat.

Ignoring the captive's screams, Barakh bound her hands tight behind her back and tethered them to her neck with a rope - an old trick of the wastes. Just before entering the camp, his vanity took over, and he hoisted her over his shoulder to parade his trophy. Unmatched with a blade and recklessly brave, no one dares challenge him. His fellow renegades just watch with bitter envy. They need entertainment, after all.

This is my first full-fledged render from the Chronicles of Urtagh. I'm staying in this world for a while. It's a realm of barbarians, savagery, enslaved women, and ruthless warlords. A place where the grand capital of Kark-hot is shadowed by a sky-scraping statue of the First Unfree Wife, and where Earthlings are dragged to serve with their flesh, sweat, and minds.

Breaking DAZ Limits: Morning Gathering of Slaves

My custom crowd-generation scripts in practice. 6 minutes of work, one Genesis 8 base figure, and my 6 consecutive scripts - this is the exact result. Four days of heavy coding (over 15 hours a day) finally paid off! 🛠️

The Lore: In Kark-hot, the capital of Urtagh, all female slaves have been summoned to a square in the suburbs. They wait in the cold morning fog, anxious about what is going to happen. Such is the fate of slaves in this land. While their owners still sleep in warm beds, they stand freezing, waiting for anyone to explain what is going on...

The Tech Specs: The absolute best part about this? The entire scene used less than 10 GB of VRAM! ;)

Of course, this is a test render, not fully representing what will actually happen in the story. I just wanted to see how my scripts perform in a practical scenario.

While building this, I tweaked a few things: now the characters don't just gather on planes. They can also stand along the boundaries of the plane, face the center, look at any specific camera, or look randomly - with full control over random rotation limits.

Next Steps: I still need to refine one more thing. The scripts already randomize skin and hair color perfectly, but I need to implement the exact same mechanism for clothing variations.

We're getting there. DAZ is slowly running out of limits to put on me.

After 4 days of heavy grinding - 18 hours a day - I finally broke DAZ Studio's limits! 🛠️

For my dark fantasy comic project, Urtagh, I desperately needed crowds to bring cities and bandit camps to life. Posing every single figure manually in DAZ would easily take a whole day for just one image. I know about tools like Riversoft, but messing with bitmaps and textures didn't meet my expectations for scene building. I needed a comprehensive, custom solution.

AND I NAILED IT! I wrote my own proprietary set of scripts that automates everything:

Finds every figure and drops its resolution to Base 0.

Clones the chosen character (including clothes and hair).

Adds variety by randomizing height, skin color, and hair color.

Randomly pulls poses from selected folders and applies them to the entire group on a plane.

(For massive crowds) Hides everything else and renders the characters in the group as alpha-channel billboards directly from the camera's perspective.

Inserts the billboards back into the scene.

This render is a preliminary test. All 8 characters you see come from a single base figure. With my scripts, posing them took exactly 3 minutes and 16 seconds! ⏱️

Another 5 minutes went into lights and smoke, and 2 minutes for Scene Optimizer so the textures wouldn't melt my RTX 4090.

My ass hurts and my eyes are burning, but it was worth it. I finally feel like DAZ is placing fewer limits on me. AI (GPT/Gemini) helped me write the code. I cursed at them endlessly for errors, but without them, I'd be stuck on this for 4 weeks instead of 4 days.

As for the scene itself? In the world of Urtagh, people from Earth go through a brutal quarantine. This render is just a glimpse of that reality. More coming soon.

The statue of Mji-Ala towers over Kark-Hort, the capital of Urtagh. A princess and the most radiant of mortals, she was the first to voluntarily surrender herself into slavery to the First Warrior—a sacrifice made to save the city and the ancient culture of Urtagh. As the First Great Slave, she offered the symbolic collar to her future Master, laying the foundation for the magnificent world we live in today.

The creation of Kark-Hort is in its advanced stages. Currently, I am focused on developing custom scripts to populate the city, transforming this silent ghost town into the true, breathing capital of Urtagh. Plenty of work ahead, but the vision of Mji-Ala guides the way.

The Urtagh Chronicles. This is a sample of the Miko language I’ve developed - a custom language built with its own grammar and patriarchal split.
This project is far bigger than anything I’ve done before. I’m creating an entire world from scratch: its history, architecture, and even its clothing. It’s a lot of work, but I’m having a blast. I’m still refining the style and post-processing to get it exactly right for the final comic, but I’m getting there.
