Betty A. Reardon, internationally celebrated as a founder of the field of peace education and feminist peace scholar, passed away on November 3, 2023. She was founding Academic Coordinator of the Hague Appeal for Peace Global Campaign for Peace Education.

Currently, he holds a professorship in ethics at Godfrey Okoye University in Enugu, Nigeria and acts as executive director of Globethics; a global network of teachers and institutions with the vision to embed ethics in higher education.
