@lucschuster@chrisgbedford@BedfordMOF@amydain@AbundantHomesMA@berkie1@JonathanCohn 2) We made strides in the right direction for sure - town center walkable as apposed to where the vocal minority wanted it (on the edge of town) - and although the heights were held to more or less suburbs norms, we were able to get no parking minimums. 😊
@chrisgbedford@berkie1 It took a lot of hours and effort to get that vote. Let’s see if it holds after the chair’s magnanimous gesture to consider further. 🤞🫣
I want a competent and “mission for the people” focused TEAM in the White House, not just a president. How about we focus on that?! https://t.co/8j90JbORET
Imagine living in a country where the “urbanized” areas mostly look like this and thinking there’s a conspiracy to make you live without a car, rather than a conspiracy to do the exact opposite.
Massachusetts ranks 14th nationally for housing undersupply, which puts sustainable economic growth at risk; this key metric must be reduced. https://t.co/Vi3UJFwJlP
Automated vehicles aka vehicle robots are unintentionally met with extraordinary obstacles aka policy issues in cities that haven’t dealt with housing & mental health of the people.

American streets are so dangerous that even the shortest trips don’t feel safe without a car. Since there are no sidewalks or crosswalks, this maneuver would be illegal on foot.
To be clear, the “learnings” have been well-established for years. We know exactly what the problem is - road design - and we know exactly how to fix it: road design. The only barrier to safer streets is political will. That’s it. Full stop. Not money. Not know-how. Politics.
What if we designed cities, and the land-uses, densities and infrastructure that make them what they are, so that daily activity and exercise was just an ordinary, “invisible” part of every day life?
It’s actually not that hard. You just have to change priorities. #HealthyCities
A transportation system that requires cars to get around is economic albatross around the necks of ordinary, hard working people. It is the mandatory purchase of a polluting, time-sucking, dangerous, depreciating asset.
The system has good leaders now but it is still on life support.
Please come to the rally.

This article from the Globe Magazine! Massachusetts doesn’t want to recognize that we are in fact interconnected. Dunks workers are stuck in traffic to serve rich communities their daily special. Boston’s water comes from central MA where exurban sprawl is eating up land.
Each year, lawmakers and defense lobbyists play the same game, pouring hundreds of billions into the Pentagon without scrutinizing every dollar—and it's taxpayers who lose.
Today, I invited witnesses to play JeoparDoD, to win oversight for the American people.
California State Assembly just passed a single stair/point access block bill, unanimously.
Reminder that your city/state/province can do this any time. It just takes a few obnoxious people to bring it to the forefront.
Who’s going to do it? 🙋♀️
