@PhantomZer013 @OrinTheRed_ Problem is: He shows he doesn't understand the tech and the baseline GenAi needs. for the genAi to spit out anything readable, useable, somewhat comprehensive, you need an amount of data as baseline dataset that's sooo big, no company can provide that!

@SCentralized It sure looks like it because of the children and bots pushing it. But RL evidence shows that surprisingly a majority reacts very negative and not accepting as soon as they realise a company feeds them Ai slop. They (normies) often fail to see it without help tho.

@LaurenWalshArt Within the last 24h I got rid of my office sub, ended my Dropbox and google drive era, switched to linux and only emulate windows for Clipstudio. Ai era is making it easy for me to finally motivate me to switch to open source alternatives 🥰

@LarAtLarian If you don't understand why most creatives in your fanbase reacted to violently, maybe just talk to us and educate yourself what the real deal behind the current LLMs is. This is not just about GenAi, this is about the whole industry and system behind it.

@LarAtLarian Labor of love. Maybe think about that again. I loved Divinity OS 1 and 2, played way too much BG3 and bought it on every device and twice for xbox to have the Deluxe edition. I want Divinity to be a labour of love as well, you don't need Ai for anything. We are not your enemy

@georgecursor @theoceanblooms My cats run to the door to greet me just like my childhood dog did. 🤔 They actively curl up next to me/on top of me, rub heads and are always happy to spend time with me. I don't know why we keep up with the cats vs dogs bs tbh. Loving both makes life a lot better.

@EpicArtFail Wait until they get educated by actual Ai researchers that keep saying "this sh*t isn't even Ai" it's a fancy algorithm, LLM and a complex dictionary. (Ai is just subset of algorithms but not every algorithm is Ai) That's it. 🙄

Then we can talk about it being at least "ethical" cause rn they are burning every body for mediocre outcomes and no added productivity.

@Rahll Also I have at least 600 pro artists that didn't experiment with Ai ever incl myself so...I don't know maybe not everyone compromises their values and skill.

@Rahll They signed a declaration that no Ai was used. They did break that rule,the award was taken away.And how do we know they just used it for that? They didn't disclose the Ai usage voluntary, they forgot to take it out and were found out. Does not build confidence. Loved the game 😔

@MahdiMugdha @auxelock @Genki_JPN And that means? They can still google it, then they at least have the source and the name of the artist and can hire the artist if they like their work. This is a very normal thing how artists get jobs 🙄 Do that with genai and you don't get any sources and names.

@auxelock @Genki_JPN Absolutely! Judging by what Swen keeps saying they are using GenAi for Game development itself. He even admitted it doesn't show any benefits but they are still using it. Even in the research phase, especially then, GenAi is not the way to go.
