"ABHORRENT ATTACK": A teenage girl ("child in mid-teens") was r-ped in the Portland Square area of Bristol at about 3.30am on 20th June.

The girl reported it immediately- why has it taken police 3 weeks to put out CCTV and a description?

An investigation into the assault of a woman inside a Hyson Green shop is underway.

Police were called after a man grabbed a woman he didn't know while she was shopping in Asda.

While the woman wasn't hurt, she was left shaken up by the interaction, which has been classified as an assault.

The incident happened around 9.10pm on 12 June, with the man leaving the shop and the woman notifying the police.

Officers suspect the man in this picture could've been involved, so are now releasing the image in a bid to try and track him down.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to share this information with the police by contacting officers directly on 101, quoting incident 217 of 12 June 2026.
