BeSafeBeWell #MensShed projects in Limavady, Foreglen, Portstewart and Coleraine provide a creative, relaxed, friendly member-led space for men aged 25+.
A great sunny afternoon spent with Portstewart Men's Shed, they were showing me the bikes they've been repairing to gove to refugees and local people who need them, the vegetable patch and telling me of the sense of purpose it gives the men who attend...these services are vital
Repair Cafe Portstewart grew out of the lovely #MensShed. Now 5 @BeSafeBeWell sheds risk closure due to funding, with all the community benefits, including the repair cafe at risk too. Support their petition: https://t.co/wfWdHAzq63 and crowdfunder: https://t.co/G87R7ReAOf

I'm raising money in aid of Be Safe Be Well Mens Sheds and every donation will help. Help Save The Mens Shed Projects from closure and preserve this vital health service for the #mensmentalhealth and wellbeing. Our 178 members say THANK YOU. #saveoursheds
1/2 We spent the afternoon at @BeSafeBeWell open day event, Portstewart. The Shed, along with four others in the area, is under threat of closure due to the loss of essential core funding. Their service is vital for their members including their regular repair cafè events.
