Can't believe this is my reality. Time is flying so fast and I wish it would just slow down. This school year though is one for the books. Starting off virtually.
#SaveSanditon Squad, we hear you and we’re doing what we can. Please could you retweet this to let us know how many of you there are so we can make a case for a new season? P.S. Don’t use multiple accounts or we’ll get in trouble
@Mizhakwad14 @joshgad We have had riots in 2014, 2015, and 2016... bad thing is that once they finish, everything is forgotten it seems till something else happens and it is heartbreaking. We need our legislators to pass new bills and those who have been in for 30 years to get out.
@fox5dc So whether you like President Trump or not, it is our Congress we need to push on for change because the presidents are only in office for so long. Yet we have had some in Congress for 30+ years. We need change! We need to unite and love again.
@fox5dc President Obama I remember when we came together as a country in 2001 and I remember how excited I was to have you as President. You had your 8 years and each year we became divided as a nation and riot after riot happened. We need to come together again. President Trump is not
@fox5dc The best president and never will be, but there are things that have been better like retirement, paycheck increase, more work, military growing, and just focus on the US overall. What happened in Minneapolis was horrible and justice needs to be served. Changes need to be made.
@MoneyManMilt@EvanLambertTV@fox5dc And don't get me wrong, a change needs to happen because police brutality is happening and we need to put in the measures to stop it. We need check and balances so corruption stops within the justice system. And we ALL need to be better people to each other over all.
@MoneyManMilt@EvanLambertTV@fox5dc On April 11, 1968, President Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1968, which was meant as a follow-up to the Civil Rights Act of 1964. MLK was assassinated April 4th, 1968. But we have had riots under Obama one after another and still no change. No push on Congress.
@MoneyManMilt@EvanLambertTV@fox5dc You want to know what hasn't changed either? Our representatives in Congress who make the laws. Some have been in there 30+ years. You know the famous 1992 riot in LA, well Pelosi was first elected to Congress in 1987 and hasn't done anything.
