Yesterday, together with my DCE, Hon. Raphael Uriel Nartey, and my Chairman, Alhaji Issah Vanguard, I visited the Afienya Community.
As part of the #BigPushAgenda, two major roads under construction intersect at Afienya junction: the Dawhenya-Afienya-Dodowa road and the Ashaiman-Asikuma Junction road.
This has warranted a demolition exercise that has affected several shops and houses. We have been engaging with the affected people since February to notify them.
However, I needed to visit the affected to reassure them that the Government was acting in their best interests and that, where compensation was justified, it would be paid.
Once again, it was a good engagement even under the circumstances but as always, I have maintained that the job dey the ground. Afienya always has a special place in my heart! 🦁🇬🇭

THE BLAME ALWAYS FINDS HER
1.He left. She raised the kids. He created a new family; she kept theirs alive. Years later, people say she abandoned him. Society never forgets to blame the woman, even when she is the only one who did not walk away.
2.Seventeen years of raising kids alone, feeding, schooling, loving and they still say she "should've followed her husband, the very man who left her a burden in Obi man so, didn't look back again but chose to make babies even as a sick man." Because in their story, truth always bends to protect the man. Same story, every generation.
3.She did not fail the marriage. The marriage failed her. Stop asking why she did not follow him. Start questioning why he left them in the cold whiles enjoying himself in Ghana making new babies here and there. This time, tell the story right.
https://t.co/nIYgByiwsX see, when a man becomes powerful, people rewrite history to erase the woman who helped build him. They forget the years Akosua Serwaa sacrificed, the dreams she buried, and the quiet strength she carried so he could rise.
AKOSUA SERWAA WAS THERE BEFORE THE FAME YET NOW, HER PAIN IS TREATED LIKE A FOOTNOTE WITH DISDAIN AND DISRESPECT
https://t.co/vnWNCPBJK7 is easy to call her bitter, but no one calls her brave. Brave for raising children alone. Brave for enduring silence instead of scandal. Brave for loving a man who the world praises but never held accountable.
SHE DESERVES EMPATHY NOT ERASURE.
We are hypocrites as Ghanaians and never stands for the truth.

PUBLIC PETITION TO H.E. PRESIDENT JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA @JDMahama
Your Excellency,
We respectfully petition your office to urgently review and intervene in the recent High Court judgment delivered by Her Ladyship Justice Dorinda Arthur-Smith in the case involving Akosua Serwaa Fosuh, Abusuapayin Kofi, and Priscilla Ofori.
Of grave concern is the rejection of a valid German civil marriage license by a Ghanaian court, despite the clear legal position that German civil marriages are strictly monogamous and legally binding under international law. This decision raises serious concerns about:
1. The protection of legally married spouses
2. The recognition of international marriages in Ghana
3. The safety of Ghanaian women married abroad
4. The consistency of our judicial interpretations
Even more troubling is the reference in the ruling suggesting that Charles Kwadwo (Daddy Lumba) had two wives, which has now been used as a justification to normalize polygamy in a civil marriage context—a position that directly contradicts German and international marital law.
This precedent is dangerous. If allowed to stand, it will:
1. Undermine foreign civil marriages
2. Endanger lawful spouses
3. Encourage bigamy
4. Weaken investor and diaspora confidence in Ghana’s legal system
Mr. President, Ghana is a nation governed by laws, treaties, and mutual legal respect. We humbly call on you to:
1. Order an immediate review of this judgment
2. Protect the sanctity of civil marriage
3. Uphold Ghana’s international legal obligations
4. Defend the rights of lawfully married women
This issue goes beyond one case. It affects every Ghanaian woman married abroad and the integrity of our justice system.
We stand for justice. We stand for truth. We stand for Ghana.

I have, this morning, received a congratulatory call from my brother Dr @MBawumia, following my emphatic victory in Saturday’s election.
Thank you, Ghana.
This election was about the PEOPLE and not a political party.
The awakening is gradually coming!
Fck around and find out the hard way.
BE VERY AFRAID OF US. 🎤
My attention has been drawn to the violent activities of some unscrupulous military personnel, deployed to cause mayhem and disrupt the declaration of parliamentary results in some constituencies.
This is to caution the personnel involved that they will be held individually liable and responsible for their actions.
